Glassy white glaze surrounds the bright shiny pomegranate on this handmade, and freehand painted mug.
This delightfully dark winter mug is 4.25" tall, and ready to hold 14oz of your favorite beverage.
It is microwave, and dishwasher safe, although, with all things, hand washing will preserve the life of this piece for longer.
I use a potters wheel to form every mug, and hand pull and embellish every handle. I then free-hand paint each design directly onto the mug body using a variety of underglazes before carving out each bit of line work using a technique called sgraffito. This freehand process makes each of these mugs a unique piece from my heart to your hands.
Pottery is my passion, and my love. Each piece is crafted with long hours of loving learning, attention, and joyous little dance breaks. I am just so excited to be able to express with the clay, and I am so excited to be able to share these works of the heart with you.
